Spring is finally here!

Spring is finally here!  

The snow is not all gone yet, but I have faith it will be soon!  :)

It was a lot of fun to get out and take some pictures yesterday evening.  I'm happy to finally be starting my 2014 season, its about time we are able to get outside.  :) Thanks Jen and Chris.

And, to feel blessed by phone calls inquiring about photos for this 2014 season.  Thanks so much for being awesome friends and clients.  I am so grateful to have you all as part of my life.

Now!  Bring on some Spring Flowers and Green Grass!  I'm ready for some color around here.

Alex Senior session and Family Session!

Its that time of year when you are scheduling a senior session for you upcoming graduate.  Its also a great time to think about getting an updated family picture, as your family will soon be changing.  I am very flexible with working in a quick family picture during our senior sessions.  Its a great time to get the whole family together to capture a few memories.

Pentwater is a great place to vacation, and a great opportunity to have family photos.

Mary and her awesome family!

Mary called me excited that the whole family was going to be together for vacation last minute!  We squeezed in a family session and we had an absolute blast!  Thanks Mary for introducing me to your wonderful family.  :)

Emily's family mini-session

Emily and her beautiful family!  Her 4 month old new little man was such a ham and had the most beautiful eyes!  And, we were excited to get such a great reaction from their family dog in the pictures as well.  Thanks Emily for having me over to spend some time with your awesome family!

Oliver is 6 months!

Look at this handsome little mush!  I just love him!  He has the biggest smiles and has such a fun loving personality you can't help but just keep talking to him because he makes you happy!

Sayles Ladies Session :)

Sometimes life brings you an unexpected turn of events.  In a previous blog post from November you will see a tribute to John Sayles,  a loving father, husband and friend that we lost because of an aortic aneurysm at a very young age.  His wife Melanie is one of the strongest women I know, and I wonder all the time how she keeps going with such an amazing smile on her face.  Melanie and John have 3 wonderful daughters, that are full of love, life and ENERGY!  :)

As Melanie has pushed through the months healing herself and her family we knew that we needed to take some pictures of her and the girls to help decorate the home.  We chose the Aert's Farm apple orchard to spend the evening at.  John worked hard for the Aert's and spent most evenings come Spring to Fall working in the orchard.  We knew this would make the perfect location for their pictures.  There was a feeling that he was right there with us!

Thank you Melanie for asking me to be part of taking these pictures and making new memories!  As I know there are many more memories to be made with you.  We have loved having you join in the fun with our family events.  You are and always will be considered part of our family.

What a sweet little blessing a new baby is!  Welcome Oliver Wells!

I had so much fun getting to spend some time with you!  The first 2 pictures are of Oliver at around 2 weeks!  The last bunch are Oliver are about 2 months!  He is such a sweetie!

I know his Daddy and Mommy are enjoying every minute of him!
