Special Moment with Dad!

The last 2 weddings I have photographed we created a special time for the Father of the Bride to see his daughter for the first time!

It is so nice to be involved in capturing that moment.

Better Late then Never!!!! :) Thank you 2013

I have wanted to sit down and share a bunch of pictures for the New Years!  Write a little thank you to all my friends, family and new friends that have worked with me in 2013.  It was a blessed year.  I am so grateful for the gift that God has given me.  And, I am so very thankful for all the people that I get to work with.  

This last Holiday season was very busy for us and our 3 girls.  School break and small vacation time visiting family in Chicago.  When the girls and I returned from Chicago my husband started to have some major back pain.  It turned into 2 visits to the ER and transfer to a larger hospital for major surgery.  He was hospitalized for 3 weeks total including some acute therapy.  He is home now and doing great, and working hard at getting stronger everyday.  

A big thank you to my clients that were patient with me while I had to delay some picture editing.  I'm so thankful to have such understanding clients.  As I am approaching the middle of February I am gearing up for the 2014 season.  I'm really really looking forward to it, and looking forward to all the pretty faces I get to work with.  My big plan this year is to add another/updated camera to my family.  I'm excited to have the convenience of 2 cameras ready with 2 different lens.  

So, its a little late.  But, THANK YOU! THANK YOU :)

Senior Season Sessions :)

Its that time of year when 2014 graduates are getting their senior pictures taken.  In the last few years I have learned so much from my first senior session to now.  I really enjoy getting each senior to open up and bring out their real personality.  So, thanks to my seniors for being so much fun.  I have enjoyed working with everyone one of you and I look forward to my fall session Seniors as well.  You all ROCK and make my job so easy.  Happy Friday friends!

Gesh, I am realizing now that I was probably a Senior when these Seniors were born.  Ugh!  Really??
