Day in the life of *ME*

As the days are getting cooler and the kids are getting older I realize that this is the last Fall that I will have these moments with all 3 girls at the same time.  They have been a big part of my life for the last 3 years in daycare.  Next year Kenna(my own) and Maya will be full time kindergartners and Irelyn will be 3 days a week pre-school.  With the 3rd baby of my own on the way I'm not sure what the future holds for my daycare and soon to be full house with my own kids.  So, I decided it was a great day to get out and talk a walk.  We checked out the quiet streets of Pentwater and the beautiful colors on the trees.  Had one last swing at the beach before it gets too cold and just enjoyed a great afternoon.  

From left to right!  We have Maya, Irelyn and Kenna!  3 very different personalities!  Maya has a very quiet and shy front, but there is an outgoing little girl that is hidden under that layer.  Irelyn is my goof-ball/tomboy,  digging in the dirt, looking for bugs.  She is not shy at all, she will be your friend.  Kenna, my own daughter is a Diva.  Loves to give me big smiles and silly/sassy poses for the camera!!  So now that you know a little bit about these little ones you can see that my days were full of fun, fun, fun!!

   

  One last one of me and my girls!!  I have enjoyed every moment, even the stressful ones!!  LOL  I'm so proud of every one of these little mush's!!  That is what I have called them.  My Mush's!!  I am very appreciative to the families that have shared their kids and their moments with me.  I also appreciate how supportive they have been as I have started working with my photography.   Happy Fall!!

Don and Erin Engagement/Family *Session*

Awe!!  You will have to forgive me, this blog is a long one.  But, this is also near and dear to my heart.  Erin and I have known each other since elementary and Sunday school.  I couldn't be happier that Erin has found the love of her life, Don.  So here it is!  My first engagement session.  It couldn't have been more fun.  

I love these true smiles on their faces!  They are so much in love!

I would really love to go into detail about how much we laughed while trying to get this piggy-back picture.  But, I think I will keep that between Erin and I.  It was a fun moment!!

Don had the best attitude while taking pictures.  We really had fun with it!

Ended the night rushing back to the beach to catch the beautiful sunset!  Thanks so much Erin, Don and Cody.  I really had a blast hanging out with you all.  I am looking forward to taking wedding pictures in June.  As I know Erin will be a beautiful bride!  

Kori Coffey Family Reunion **Session**

Sunday of Labor Day weekend I got to travel to Traverse City for the morning to hang out and photograph an absolute wonderful family.  Thanks so much to Kori for reaching out to me and Jeff to help capture your family memories!

The Hayes Family ** Session**

Welcome to Pentwater Hayes family from New Jersey!  What a great group!  This session was nothing but fun and laughs.  I told them right away if there were goofy to be goofy.  It always helps a to make a picture look better when you let you real personality come out and shine.  Thanks so much Hayes family for asking me to capture some memories of your trip to Pentwater.

Bluhm Family **Session**

Is it really possible that I used to babysit these boys 17 years ago? :)  I met Kris and Dave while working my first job in Pentwater at Rinaldi's Ice Cream shop.  Kris' parents owned the shop and whenever they were in town for a visit I helped out with the boys.  From then on I used to pull the 2 oldest boys around in their bike trailer.  Thanks for a fun morning Bluhm family.  It was a great time spending the morning with the whole family.
