Beautiful Michigan Snow

Yes I'm ready for spring, and warmer weather. But, this morning was a beautiful morning. Every tree branch and each pine needle covered with beautiful snow.

Yellow Ribbons tied on most of the trees in my yard, and they will remain there until my Uncle Jeff returns home from Iraq.

The last 2 years we have visited Frankenmuth, Michigan in October. It is now my favorite fall destination for a weekend away. Its so beautiful there! A great place for a girl like me who loves taking pictures.

I have been looking through pictures and wondering why it is I even wanted to blog!! I haven't done any weddings, or really any photo shoots! Gesh!! What should I post? I have come up with these for starters. Really it was my 2 beautiful girls that got me into photography to begin with. In the last 6 years I know I have taken over 20,000 pictures. My husband can not believe it, but at the same time has supported a hobby I love so much. Recently he got me a new Camera. I am currently using a Canon Rebel T1I. I started off with an underwater Sony 2.0 mega. pix camera. Yes I know, seems funny now but we thought we needed that underwater camera because of babies and spills!! Wow how things have changed.

I'm new to this Blogger thing to say the least. So, here it is my first Picture Post. I'll get the hang of it and soon post more. It was a beautiful fall night in October of 2009 and I captured my daughter drawing the memory of our night at the beach. Children are so innocent and full of love, I was touched by this moment that she wanted to cherish. I really get a chuckle out of the drawing of Mom. Notice the camera in front of my face, my girls know my passion for photography.
